Thank you for supporting Anand Jyoti Foundation. Your contributions are vital to our mission, and we deeply appreciate your generosity. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which donations and other contributions to Anand Jyoti Foundation may be refunded.

General Policy

Due to the nature of donations and the immediate allocation of funds to our projects and programs, refunds will be granted only under exceptional circumstances. Please review the conditions below carefully.

Donation Refunds

Eligibility for Refund
Refunds for donations will be considered only under the following stringent conditions:

  • Unauthorized Donation: If a donation was made fraudulently or without your authorization, we will review your request and, if validated, issue a refund.

  • Technical Issue: If a technical error during the donation process resulted in an incorrect amount being charged, we will assess and potentially approve a refund.

  • Duplicate Donation: If a duplicate donation was made due to an error, we will consider refunding the duplicate amount.

Non-Refundable Donations

  • General Donations: All general donations to Anand Jyoti Foundation are non-refundable, as funds are allocated immediately to our projects and initiatives.

  • Project-Specific Donations: Donations made towards specific projects or campaigns are non-refundable.

  • Tax-Exempt Donations: Donations for which a tax exemption certificate has been issued are non-refundable.

Refund Process
To request a refund under the exceptional circumstances outlined above, please contact us within 7 days of the donation date with the following details:

  • Your full name

  • Date of donation

  • Amount donated

  • Transaction ID or receipt number

  • Detailed reason for the refund request

Refund Timeline

  • Assessment Period: We will assess your request and respond within 14 business days.

  • Processing Time: If approved, refunds will be processed within 30 business days of the approval date using the original payment method.

Event Registration Fees
Refunds for event registration fees will only be considered under the following conditions:

  • Full Refund: Requests made at least 30 days before the event date will be considered for a full refund.

  • Partial Refund: Requests made between 29 and 14 days before the event date may be considered for a partial refund, excluding any non-recoverable costs incurred by the foundation.

  • No Refund: Requests made less than 14 days before the event date are non-refundable.
